THIS SEPTEMBER, JOIN RADICAL MYCOLOGY CO-FOUNDER PETER MCCOY AT THE NASHVILLE FOOD PROJECT IN NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE FOR A 20-HOUR INTENSIVE ON THE ART, SCIENCE, AND REGENERATIVE APPLICATIONS OF MUSHROOM CULTIVATION.
Designed for the beginner as well as the experienced grower, this Mushroom Cultivation & Application Course is one of the most up to date and accessible courses of its kind in North America. Founded on the principles of Radical Mycology, this course will teach you not only the life skills of fruiting mushrooms and growing mycelium (spawn), but also how to integrate fungi into any regenerative urban, rural, or alternative lifestyle. Using an easy to follow format and an emphasis on practices that minimize waste, cost, and complexity, this class will leave you empowered to start cultivating mushrooms anywhere and on any budget.
Throughout the weekend, Peter will explain his personal approach to cultivating fungi for food, medicine, and soil health. Through a variety of hands-on activities and in-depth explorations of fungal biology and ecology, you will learn both the how of cultivation and, more importantly, the why behind its many practices. With this combination of concepts and skills covered, you will leave this course equipped with effective growing protocols to practices as well as the design principles for adapting any mushroom project to fit your needs.
