Temperate Europe, NE & W NA. Base of coniferous tree stumps and oaks from late July to November.

Brown root and butt rot

Stump culture

Preferred Wood Types:
Oak, alder, cottonwood, poplar, aspen, elm

Known Remediation/Restoration potential:
Potential Armillaria blight protection. Uptakes arsenic.
